POLARIS RELEASES X2 HDS
(Heavy Duty Spec.)

In 2006, Polaris brought you X2 – the ATV that tows more, carries more, seats two and rides smoother than anything in its class, proving itself twice as useful as most other ATVs.

This year, Polaris has released the X2 HDS (Heavy Duty Spec.) in both the popular 500 EFI and new 800 EFI variations. The HDS model comes with all the great features of the X2, along with a host of heavy duty features to let you do even more, more easily.

X2 HDS comes complete with a 2500lb Polaris winch, which gives you the power to clear trails, build fences, winch out a neighbour and much more. And complementing the smooth ride of Independent Rear Suspension is Active Descent Control (ADC) to optimize control when moving down hills and steep declines. Throw in rear work lights and cast aluminum rims, and you can see why this is a true heavy duty vehicle.

X2 not only tows more and carries more than any other vehicle in its class, but comes with Independent Rear Suspension to again create the legendary smooth Polaris ride. IRS means smoother riding, improved handling, less fatigue, more power to the ground and greater ground clearance for those long days on the paddock.

Complementing the ultra-smooth ride, X2 comes complete with true All-Wheel Drive, which senses when the rear wheels slip and engages both front wheels to maximize traction. And if you think that sounds good, throw in Electronic Fuel Injection for easy starting and smooth and responsive power under even the harshest of conditions.

Towing and carrying more than anything in its class, X2 HDS tows 555kg (500 EFI) or 680kg (800 EFI), hauls 181kg in its rear dump box, and jets along with its Polaris 500 EFI or 800 EFI engine. It also comes with a 22.7 litre fuel tank and integrated front storage box.

In one of the most unique developments of recent years, X2 also converts to a twoseater in seconds, so when you’re not using the 181kg capacity dump box to haul, you can use it to carry an extra person.
